Rare Breed developed the FRT-RD3™ (SEF) Two-Stage (3-Position) Forced Reset Trigger for the HK MP5, MP5K, SP5 & SP5K to address the need for a more responsive trigger in the HK platform. Unlike a standard trigger, the forced-reset mechanism mechanically returns the trigger forward after each shot, enabling a faster reset without altering the firearm’s semi-automatic classification. The 3-position selector offers safe, semi-automatic, and forced-reset modes, giving the operator direct control over firing characteristics. This trigger is a direct drop-in for the MP5, MP5K, SP5, and SP5K using a standard SEF lower.
